Winter Magic In Woods At Lassen Park
Through to March 23 (weather permitting), visitors are invited to Lassen Volcanic National Park in north eastern California to take in the winter forest scenery on a walk in the woods by snowshoe.
They can go it alone or join one of the many ranger-led snowshoe walks. Snowshoes are available for participants with a suggested $1donation, and rangers lead adventures of up to three km in length to explore winter ecology and Lassen’s geologic history.
Route and distance varies depending on group ability and fitness.
