Wakulowsky Named COO For CTEH
Walter Wakulowsky has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) for CTEH, the parent company of Tour East Holidays and TE-active solutions.
Wakulowsky joined CTEH in November 2019 as Managing Director and oversaw the successful launch of TE-active, CTEH’S latest venture which offers conversational commerce services to many well-known global loyalty brands.
Annie Tsu, President and CEO of CTEH (1620.HK) Inc., said of the appointment: “It’s with great enthusiasm that I welcome Walter to his new role. I’m excited with his addition as we continue driving the company’s strategy forward during the Covid-19 crisis.”
Tsu continued: “Walter’s credentials are impeccable and the insight and professionalism he brings to the COO position will serve CTEH well into the future.”
Wakulowsky is well suited for his new position, having amassed 25-years experience in senior management. That vast experience includes stints at a number of leading companies, including WestJet, Bell Canada, Rogers Cable, Minacs Worldwide and the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Wakulowsky said: “I’m very excited to be part of the CTEH leadership team and look forward to implementing new, innovative ideas that will help CTEH Inc., continue its growth and transformation in all facets of the company.”
And he continued: “While these are challenging times, I believe there are many opportunities for CTEH Inc. to expand its footprint on many different levels.”
At 6-foot-7, Mr. Wakulowsky is undoubtedly one of the tallest COO’s in Canada.
As Tsu sees it: “Walter’s abilities, along with his height, make him stand tall among Canadian executives and we are very fortunate to have him as our new COO.”
