Voices of Travel: For Rocky Racco, it’s all about relationships
If things had gone otherwise, Rocky Racco, CEO of TTI Travel, might well have made his career in law. But they didn’t and Racco ended up in the travel business, starting his career at his parent’s travel agency, Dufferin Travel.
“I stayed through a lot of changes; a lot of fabulous experiences; and a lot of trials and tribulations,” he observed, before continuing: “Our roots are as a family-based business. My mom is the one who convinced my dad to get into the business and her premise was, we went on a family trip, she wasn’t satisfied with the arrangements made by the travel agency and she convinced my dad that we could do it better. But really it was about helping people and making sure that people are better looked after.”
