Vision Travel Solutions’ “Power of Vision” conference held last month at the Fairmont Mont Tremblant proved to be a big success, attended by 130 representatives from 77 suppliers, many who are members of the Virtuoso luxury travel group.

The event was a combination of fellowship and learning, fun and sharing. And inspiration: This year’s keynote speaker was Simon Keith, notable athlete and one of the longest-living organ transplant recipients in the world.

“Each year we try to get even better, and I’m happy to say that this conference was the best ever,” says Brian Robertson, COO. “Our advisors spend time with our executive team and many of our key suppliers, and we also acknowledge the support of so many of our most important partners.”

Events included a Supplier Showcase, Preferred Partner Rendez-Vous one-on-one sessions for both corporate and leisure advisors and a special half-day session just for leisure advisors and independent agents. A team-building initiative saw everyone participating in a bike-building exercise with the resulting 70 bicycles being donated to a local charity.

The Vision Travel Foundation made a special announcement in conjunction with the Children’s Wish Foundation – it will be granting the wish of 11-year-old Ashley Caldwell to visit Disney World with her family.

Next year’s Power of Vision Conference will take place at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto Nov. 3-5.
