Vision Travel Acquires WD World Travel

Vision Travel Solutions has acquired Vancouver-based WD World Travel from principals Robert Durant and Greg Wittig.

Located in Yaletown in downtown Vancouver, WD was established in 1992 by Durant and Wittig as an international corporate travel management agency. Additionally, WD operates Canada Travels, offering online deals for Canadians.

The company will operate as the Vancouver location of Vision Travel.

“We are excited to welcome the entire team at WD World Travel into our family,” said Brian Robertson, president of Vision Travel Solutions. “This acquisition will solidify our presence in the BC market and specifically in Vancouver.”

Durant will continue as managing director, Western Canada for Vision Travel.
