TravelBrands Joins The Celebration

Presented by Baxter Media, Air Canada and Sandals, the awards gala will reveal the results of the 19th annual Agents’ Choice survey on June 14 as decided by 6,027 travel agents!
Favourites in more than 40 categories will be honoured with a live trophy presentation on stage. In addition, 28 favourite sales reps will be recognized and the W.H. Baxter Lifetime Achievement Award will be handed out for the first time in 10 years.
Lots of surprises await as the red carpet is rolled out at the Agents’ Choice Awards Gala taking place at the elegant Eglinton Grand in Toronto.
More than 300 industry guests, coming in from across the country and around the world, will enjoy an opening cocktail reception hosted by WestJet, delicious three-course dinner served in the grand style of the theatre, bar by TravelBrands, live entertainment by Nova Sounds and JUNO Award winner Sonia Collymore, and the night will finish with a little sweetness from the Jamaica Tourist Board.

Voting in the 19th annual Agents’ Choice readership survey closed last month with a record number of Canadian travel agents choosing their favourites in 40 plus categories.
“Our Agents’ Choice survey is the most comprehensive in the industry,” explains Wendy McClung, executive VP, operations, Baxter Media. “People can rely on our results because we have the experience and integrity of having conducted the Agents’ Choice Awards survey for 19 years. No other media source has access to a subscribed database of more travel agents than Baxter Media.”
Gala attendees will be the first to receive the Agents’ Choice Results issue. It will be made available to subscribers of Canadian Travel Press, Travel Courier and Press Today.
