Travel Agent Next Door Appointment

The Travel Agent Next Door reports Penny Martin has been named vice-president, Travel Agent Experience, effective immediately.

“We were delighted when Penny joined us earlier this year,” said Flemming Friisdahl, founder, The Travel Agent Next Door. “After careful consideration, we feel the title of VP Travel Agent Experience best captures Penny’s role. Penny has a lengthy history in all sectors of retail travel, and she is focused on the agent’s experience within our organization.”

Martin began her 30 years in the travel industry as a travel agent with CAA. She then moved into management positions and learned all aspects of the business.

Martin then moved to other large retail organizations in senior roles including product, marketing, and cruise. Most recently, Martin was director of sales at Travel Professionals International.
