Travel Agent Appreciation Is A Not To Be Missed Event
Baxter Media is proud to bring you another first, the inaugural Travel Agent Appreciation Virtual Event on May 27 along with Presenting Sponsor, Voyzant.
Travel agents across the country are invited to join us and the more than 30 suppliers as we honour our industry’s front line workers with a program of guest speakers, interactive trade show, awards ceremony, and exciting prizes.
The afternoon kicks off with a lineup of guest speakers, including:
Wendy Paradis, President of ACTA, who will share insights from discussions with government about financial aid programs and the roadmap for re-opening.
Beth Potter, the newly appointed President & CEO of TIAC, to discuss the vital role of travel agents as the travel market sets to rebound.
Jennifer Neal, CEO of truth + dare, will present a live workshop to help agents think about how to market themselves in a post-pandemic travel landscape.
There will also be plenty of time to mix and mingle with industry colleagues at the interactive trade show.
Hop from booth to booth to see what’s new, learn about new products and initiatives, connect with colleagues, participate in live presentations, ask real-time questions, win prizes, and so much more.
Rounding out the afternoon, will be the awards presentation. From a longlist of 18 nominees – featured in the Travel Agent Appreciation issue of Travel Courier — one exemplary agent will be recognized with “The Travel Agent and Beyond” award.
This award honours a Canadian travel agent who has significantly contributed to the travel agent community in the past year.
Finally, all registrants will be entered in a draw with some lucky agents walking away with a flight for two courtesy of WestJet or 2 system wide passes on United Airlines courtesy of Voyzant or one of many of the other prizes offered at the event.
