Transat Says Thanks To Agents

Transat is thanking Canadian travel agents for picking them as their favourite in two categories – Tour Operator and best Leisure/Charter Airline – in the 2017 edition of the Agents’ Choice Awards.

Denise Heffron, vice-president, national sales and commercial, Transat Tours Canada, said: “The entire Transat team is incredibly honoured to be recognized by the Agent’s Choice Awards. Working with our retail partners to deliver the best value for travellers is at the heart of what we do on a day-to-day basis and we share our success with them.”

Heffron continued: “This recognition is particularly gratifying, given the fact that it’s Transat’s 30th anniversary. It allows us to recognize the progress made thus far, and look to the future with our partnerships at the forefront.”

Along with its first-place wins, Transat also came in second as favourite Supplier, in third in the Responsible Travel category and fourth for both the Travel Insurance and Online Booking Resources (B2B) categories.

And it’s also worth noting that this is the tenth consecutive year that Air Transat has been named favourite Leisure/Charter Airline and the fourth year in a row that Transat has won favourite Tour Operator.
