Transat Confetti Winners
Transat’s Confetti program rewarded the winners of its fifth sales challenge, which took place in March and highlighted the performance of the top three Europe product sellers in Canada.
The prepaid gas card prizes valued at $1,800 were divided by region. That’s how Kelly Bergquist of Terra Travel 2007 Inc. won the Western Canada prize, Melissa Marquis Silva (pictured) of Marlin Travel in Bradford won the Ontario/Atlantic Canada prize, and Gaby Giasson of Intervoyage in Rimouski won the Quebec prize.
Ambassadors of their industry and travel enthusiasts, all three winners were outside of the country, in a Transat destination, when the news was announced. Giasson, who was vacationing with a group in Riviera Maya, was greeted at the Quebec City airport by a Transat sales representative with his prize. Marquis Silva was in Jamaica and sent us a picture of her at destination. And lastly, Bergquist was in Portugal when she found out she was the winner of the March challenge.
The winners’ agencies also received $1,000 in cash and were automatically entered in a draw for the $25,000 grand prize at the end of the year.
The challenge of the month for April will reward Transat’s top group seller with a trip for him/her and up to nine friends or family members, at the five-star Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort Crystal Club in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The winning agencies will also receive $2,000 and will be entered in the grand prize draw.
