TICO CONVICTION

Carlos Ventura o/a Ventura Vacations has been convicted on seven counts of failing to maintain trust accounts contrary to the Ontario Travel Industry Act. Approximately $5,500 worth of claims were paid to consumers from the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund after Ventura’s registration was terminated in April 2011. Ventura was fined $5,000.
