The Art Of Travelling In Style
Well, that was quite an experience.
Insight Vacations brought “The Art of Travelling in Style” to Toronto yesterday (Oct. 9) — complete with its promise of “All the sights and the insights, up close and personal, in comfort and style” — welcoming a small group of VIP partners to the Lena Restaurant in the city’s downtown core.
Carla Brake, vice-president of sales for Insight Vacations, took the group on a journey through some of the highlights of the premium, escorted operator’s newly released 2020 Europe & Britain Collection, including a sneak peak of its new brand video.
With over 100 journeys and more than 70 experiences – including 5 new trips — in Europe & Britain, it’s pretty clear that Canadian travellers will be able to find a journey that’s right for them.
Brake told her audience that while there are other companies who position themselves in the space, Insight Vacations is the “only premium escorted journeys company in the market.”
She pointed to the operator’s NPS score of 89 to underscore this fact, observing that Insight “puts the customer at the centre of everything we do.”
And in this respect, the company’s CEO, Ulla Hefel Böhler had a message for travel advisors on why they should sell Insight’s product, explaining that its “immersive, guided holidays speak to a broad customer base” from Baby Boomers to young professionals.
Böhler told Press Today that because of that appeal, agents should think of Insight’s guided holidays “as 21st century travel experiences that take your clients into the heart of the destinations,” so it is not about the age of the traveller, but their mindset.
In 2020, Insight has added more personalization to its offerings with the introduction of Insight Choice, which let’s guests choose their own adventures. On the majority of this year’s European guided journeys, Insight’s Travel Directors will offer clients the choice of two included experiences.
Guests can then pick experiences reflecting their varied interests from art, fashion, food, local traditions and nature excursions.
As well, they’ll also enjoy new Insight Experiences, including a visit to the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville, a private flamenco school and beneficiary of a TreadRight Foundation grant which provides scholarships to deserving students.
There’s also a lot of excitement about Insight’s decision to bring back its Ancient Civilizations collection which will feature 18 trips to 9 countries. Travellers will be able to explore some of the world’s most ancient civilizations in the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa and the India subcontinent.
With the launch of its 2020 Europe & Britain collection, Insight Vacations is offering a 10% discount with their popular Early Payment Discount for clients who book and pay in full by Dec. 18, 2019; while past guests and Club Bon Voyage Members can save up to 5%.
Brad Ford, president of Insight Vacations, Canada, observed of the 2020 Europe & Britain Collection: “As the Europe Specialists, we have further enriched the art of travelling in style with our commitment to enhanced personalization during our guests’ guided journeys. They can now can choose their Insight Choice experiences to suit their interests and select their preferred restaurants on Dine-Around evenings for more intimate settings with smaller groups of companions,”
And Ford added: “Clients can also choose Optional Experiences, offering a range of activities during their free time and they can let our Travel Directors know their travel preferences in advance with our innovative MyInsight online holiday hub.”
