TDC’s annual conference wraps up in Spain

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC)’s National Leadership Conference, hosted at the Club Med Magna Marbella, on the Spanish Costa del Sol, concluded on March 27, following a series of networking events between owners and managers.

“I am really proud of what TDC has offered its owners and managers this week. They were able to develop action plans with nearly 30 preferred partners as part of the Partners Business Reviews, to optimize their business relationships,” said Dianne Jackson, Director, Franchise and Affiliate Members.

Attendees engaged in short TDC Talks on topics including AI for marketing efficiency, conducting impactful and meaningful 1:1 meetings, managing and reducing operational costs, and more.

“Innovation and business are really the words that best sum up the enriching week that is coming to an end,” said TDC’s general manager, Karine Gagnon. “Innovations in the form and substance of our National Leadership Conference, but above all, concrete steps to enable you to develop even further, according to your own objectives.”

Gagnon also revisited some of the highlights of the week, including the Transat evening on March 26, held at the Melia Costa del Sol. “I am really proud of the close relationship that TDC has with all its preferred partners, especially Transat. And the fabulous evening that the tour operator offered our owners and agency managers yesterday was a testament to the trust—and even loyalty—that binds us.”

Last but not least, the latest innovation mentioned by Gagnon in connection with this year’s conference was related to the environment.

“I am more than proud to announce that, in accordance with Transat’s corporate responsibility plan and the environmental objectives of the airline industry, TDC is committed to supporting certified greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction projects covering all emissions generated by air travel related to the NLC. Thus, credits covering nearly 137,000 kgCO₂e of emissions generated by air travel for all its participants and partners have been financed by TDC, directed towards projects for climate solutions and access to sustainable aviation fuel, through Transat’s Act on Your Carbon Footprint program, in partnership with CHOOOSE.”
