TDC Takes A Ride With Collette

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) gave 14 of its travel professionals the opportunity to discover the many facets of the Emerald Isle with Collette, from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6. The travel professionals had the chance to “Ride Along” with a group of regular passengers, to enjoy the trip like a non-agent, and to better present the experience to consumers.

Sandra Wesson, director of product and industry relations for TDC, accompanied the group and stated “this was such an amazing opportunity for our travel professionals to experience the Collette service firsthand. From their door-to-door sedan pickup and drop-off service, to their excellent in-destination tour managers and drivers, the team was very impressed with all aspects of the trip. They are now very confident in how to sell guided vacations as well as what differentiates Collette.”

The group took part in Collette’s Shades of Ireland tour departing from Dublin, visiting many of the country’s landmarks like Kilkenny, Waterford, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. The tour ended with one night in Cabra Castle, located just over an hour outside of Dublin.

TDC applicants for this experience had to submit a video advising why they wanted to experience Ireland with Collette.
