Switzerland Changes Travel Rules
Switzerland has eased its travel rules for Canadians. The changes, which take effect today (Feb. 17), are as follows:
- Only fully vaccinated Canadians (vaccinated within the last 270 days) may enter Switzerland. For the entry, NO more Swiss Covid Certificate and NO more Passenger Locator Form are needed.
- No more mask requirement in shops, restaurants, other public settings (venues, and events) and in the workplace
- No more Swiss Covid Certificate and no more Passenger Locator Form are needed neither to enter Switzerland nor to access facilities and venues such as cinemas, theatres, and restaurants, as well as events
- No more permit requirement for large-scale events
- No more restrictions on private gatherings
- Mask duty remains for public transportation and health institutions until March 31.
