Swan Hellenic North America expands its sales team

Swan Hellenic has announced the promotion of Kelly Predmesky to Director of National Accounts and has brought Mark Spillane as its Director of Eastern USA Sales, the position that Predmesky held previously.

Swan Hellenic North America has expanded its North American sales team to meet increasingly strong growth, particularly through its partnership with Virtuoso.

In her new role, Predmesky will manage day-to-day sales and marketing plans and be the primary contact for Virtuoso, ensuring it and any future consortium accounts receive the focused attention they deserve.

Spillane recently began with Swan Hellenic filling Kelly’s former position as Director of Sales, Eastern USA. He is highly regarded in the cruise industry and brings extensive director-level experience in the expedition sector, most recently as Director of Expedition Sales for Seabourn, and prior to that in the same role with Crystal. Previously, Spillane was at Silversea under Cheryl Topalian, now Swan Hellenic NA’s Director of Operations.

He will concentrate on developing travel agency sales in the Eastern US. But at the same time, he will also work proactively with Predmesky to develop sales with Virtuoso throughout North America and Canada, as will Eric Bacon (Director of Sales, Western US & Canada) and Rolf Logan (Director of Sales, NA Groups), in addition to focusing on their respective areas. This will now form an integral part of their roles.

Joe Maloney, Vice President of Sales, North America, said: “I’m very proud of our North America team. These changes will enable us to deliver even more focused partner support and customer service, advancing our high-end reputation as the pioneers of cultural expedition cruising.”
