Sunwolf ready for return of bald eagles to Squamish

Starting in mid-November through February, Sunwolf resort near Squamish BC offers the opportunity to view North America’s largest gathering of bald eagles from a river vantage point. The Eagle Viewing Float Trip departs daily from Sunwolf, and tours are priced at $100 per adult and $65 for children under 12. It includes hot drinks and baked goods upon arrival, as well as homemade stew for lunch and all raingear and safety equipment. New this year, Sunwolf is combining the Eagle Viewing Float Trip with one night in a riverside cabin. The “Where The Eagles Soar Package”starts at $285 based on double occupancy. From the vantage point of the boat, Sunwolf guides educate guests on the life cycle of the bald eagle and the salmon it depends upon, as well as on the flora and fauna of the local environment. Framed by the Tantalus Mountain Range, Sunwolf has eleven riverside cabins available all year round for nightly stays. The cabins feature vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, pine furniture, gas fireplaces, en suite shower rooms, etc. Kitchenette cabins are equipped with a small fridge, hot plate, toaster oven, pots, pans and settings for three people.
