Sunwing reports strong operational performance for December 2024
During the month of December, Sunwing Vacations brought more than 368,000 customers across Canada on board 2,246 Sunwing Airlines flights to dozens of popular sun destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
“Our winter season has been off to a strong start, with a record number of Sunwing Vacations customers travelling with us in December and over the busy holiday season. The travel advisor community has been integral to our success this season, and we thank them and our mutual customers for trusting Sunwing as their vacation provider of choice,” said Andrew Dawson, president of Sunwing Vacations Group.
“Of course, our strong performance has been made possible in large part due to the operational readiness of our primary airline partner Sunwing Airlines, which we are grateful for,” he continued. “We look forward to an equally strong finish to this winter and, with vacation packages quickly selling out for the remainder of the season, we encourage customers to book now to secure their preferred resorts in their preferred sun destinations in the months ahead.”
Sunwing Vacations announced its initial winter schedule in August 2024, which included the additions of Tulum, Camaguey-Santa Lucia and San Andrés, along with the return of popular destinations, including Acapulco, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta along the Mexican Pacific, Puerto Plata on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, Cayo Largo from Montreal and Quebec City, Costa Rica, Roatán and Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.
Sunwing Vacations offers packages to more than 700 hotels across Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America, with options for every type of traveller, from families of all ages to adults, groups (including destination wedding groups) and solo explorers.
Sunwing Vacations customers interested in soaking up the sun in paradise this winter should act quick and connect with their local travel advisor to book their winter getaways before their preferred dates, destinations or resorts sell out for the season.
