Sunwing launches ‘Groups Plus’ initiative

With the release of its new 2012/13 Groups Guide, Sunwing has introduced a new “Groups Plus”program, designed to “take the stress out of comparing complex and sometimes confusing groups deals.”According to officials, each Groups Plus participating resort offers the best value, service and pricing. And, every “Groups Plus”(G+ for short) resort offers a consistent array of exclusive added value features. For example, with Sunwing’s G+ program, every 11th adult travels free, available on all travel dates. In addition, the group leader also receives a complimentary room upgrade. Groups will be greeted with a private group check-in, a welcome cocktail reception and group dinner reservation. Exclusive spa discounts of 20% are also available, and for golfers, greens fee discounts are available. Each G+ hotel will also arrange for the rooms to be located close together or within the same area of the hotel. Complimentary group block seat selection is also available on Sunwing Airlines flights. Agents booking a group by Oct. 31 for travel from Dec. 23 through Oct. 31, 2013 can take advantage of all these added values (some restrictions might apply on certain G+ features).
