Starwood Debuts in Buffalo
Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., has opened The Westin Buffalo in partnership with the hotel’s owner and operator, Delaware North.
Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, the newly built Westin hotel is the brand’s first in the city and is poised to introduce a new level of wellness to travellers in the destination.
“With the revival of downtown Buffalo and new energy in the city, we are thrilled to introduce a unique wellness proposition for business and leisure travellers, as only Westin can,” said Bob Jacobs, vice-president of Brand Management, North America, Westin Hotels & Resorts. “From our iconic Heavenly Bed to our Gear Lending partnership with New Balance, we look forward to having guests leave The Westin Buffalo feeling better than when they arrived.”
Located at 250 Delaware Ave, the intimate, five-storey hotel has 116 rooms and occupies the lower half of owner and operator Delaware North’s new global headquarters. The hotel also features 7,300 sq. ft. of versatile meeting and event space and an outdoor courtyard.
The hotel’s signature restaurant is Patina 250. For more casual fare, there’s Jake’s Café.
