Special offer for new ‘green’ lux rooms at Napili Kai
Napili Kai Beach Resort, a resort situated on a large beach frontage on Maui’s beautiful Napili Bay, has completed a comprehensive $5 million renovation of its oceanfront Puna Point building. A similar renovation to the adjacent oceanfront Puna 2 building was completed in December 2009 and received the Building Industry of Hawaii’s Renaissance Award of Merit in 2010. The Puna Point and Puna 2 buildings are made up of oceanfront studios and one-bedroom suites with kitchens and private lanais, overlooking the sea with panoramic views and bordered by lawns and tropical gardens. The project included refurbishment to the building exteriors, as well as the complete upgrading of all baths and kitchens with new wooden cabinetry, granite countertops and new kitchenware. Custom furnishings include rattan armchairs, marble and rattan tables, flat screen TV, and bamboo-framed art by local artists. Lanais are furnished with armchairs/ottomans and a dining table and chairs. The project was carried out with an eye towards environmental sensitivity and energy conservation and efficiency, including new electrical wiring and insulation of walls and ceilings, Energy-Star kitchen appliances, low-flow plumbing fixtures and an upgraded sewer system. To celebrate the completion of the project, Napili Kai is offering a seventh night free in the Puna Point oceanfront one-bedroom suites. The free night is applicable after every six consecutive paid nights at full rate (starting at $610 per night). The offer is valid for stays in specified periods to Dec. 13, 2013.
