Simply Amazing
The manager Canada for Tourism Ireland is praising enhanced air service between this country and Ireland, with that service able to carry people to a country that among other things is building strong ties with the entertainment industry.
Dana Welch told a Wednesday Toronto showing of the movie Sing Street – set in Dublin – that Irish settings have appeared in the latest Star Wars movie and Game of Thrones also is filmed on the island.
Welch said those visiting Ireland will find festivals and celebrations “365 days a year,” and added that “there’s a bit of a food revolution” underway in the country she represents.
Nicole McCallum, director of marketing for Trafalgar, in turn labelled Ireland an “amazing destination” and added that Trafalgar is “really all about getting to the culture.”
Among available Ireland lodging options for Trafalgar clients is massive Ashford Castle, which McCallum pronounced an “amazing five-star property” that has served as a summer home for the Guinness brewery family.
Trafalgar has a promotion that enables those who book an Ireland package by May 4 to save $200 per couple.
