Shannon Leaving Expedia.ca

After more than 14 years, Sean Shannon is leaving his post as vice-president and managing director of Expedia Canada/Latin America.

In an e-mail to Expedia.ca’s business partners here in Canada, Shannon wrote: “I wanted to formally share my news that I will soon be ending my fabulous journey with Expedia on August 28.”

He continued: “Like all trips, even the great ones have to come to an end. I am so grateful to have been a part of developing Expedia’s footprint in Canada, Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand over the past 14 plus years. Of course, none of this could have been possible without the wonderful support from all of our business partners. I thank you for your support of Expedia, and to me personally.”

As for the future, Shannon said: “Ihave no immediate career plans, other than to kick back and relax for a while. Some fun leisure travel will definitely be in my plans.”
