Say It ‘Ain’t So,’ Antje

Antje Splettstoesser, director of the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) here in Canada has announced that she is leaving the post she’s held for the past four years on April 10, 2018.

Splettstoesser is certainly leaving on a high note as 2017 saw Canadian numbers grow by 8%, while in Jan. 2018, Canadian overnights were up by 13%.

With those results leading Splettstoesser to observe: “Canadians seem to like our beautiful cities, the autobahn, the castles and well, potentially also some of the beer.”
