Sandals Debuts New Swim-Up Suites
Sandals Resorts has completed a multi-million dollar renovation of Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island’s Windsor building that includes new swim-up river suites.
Each of the building’s 174 suites has received a complete refurbishment, including the installation of new bathrooms that feature Carrera marble and glass mosaics, as well as new showers or deep tubs. Fourteen swim-up suites have also been created, with the addition of a river pool on the ground floor.
A Zen Garden, complete with peaceful water features and serene statuary, has also been added to the landscape, providing guests with a quiet and private escape.
“We have already received very positive feedback from the first guests experiencing these enhanced rooms,” said Patrick Drake, general manager at Sandals Royal Bahamian. “Swim-up suites are a favourite accommodation option at a few other Sandals resorts around the Caribbean, and we are thrilled to introduce them here in the Bahamas.”
Last year, the former Manor Building at Sandals Royal Bahamian underwent a complete transformation both inside and out, reopening with a new contemporary feel. Renamed “The Balmoral Tower” in recognition of its rich regal history, the US$17.5 renovation was unveiled to much acclaim and has since attracted glowing praises from both the travel industry and guests alike.
