Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has released its 2021/2022 “Exotic Wonders of Southeast Asia River Cruising” brochure.

The new program is coupled with the company’s Book with Confidence program, providing guests with additional booking flexibility, a free Deposit Protection Plan (value $125) and deposits reduced 50%; and its Cruise in Confidence plan, which details the new health and safety policies and practices in place to keep guests and crew safe while cruising.

Cruises are aboard the 68-guest Scenic Spirit on the Mekong and the 44-guest Scenic Aura on the Irrawaddy and Scenic’s staffed offices in each key city, allow the company to set a standard of consistency and training that is unmatched as well as offer an array of unique local experiences, drawn from the staff’s wealth of regional knowledge.

Highlights on a Mekong cruise/land adventure include making use of multiple forms of transport – bicycles, ox carts, Tuk Tuks, long tail boats, speed boats and sampans; learning the art of Vietnamese and Cambodian cooking; meeting with novice Buddhist monks; sitting with survivors of the Khmer Rouge; and enjoying lunch at a local NGO restaurant that teaches local street kids hospitality skills.
