Royal Irish To Host Wales Fam

Royal Irish Tours (RIT) has unveiled plans for its upcoming 2019 familiarization trip to Wales, from Nov. 4-12.

According to officials, Wales has been a growing destination for RIT in recent years, and the company wants to showcase the best of the country to agent partners.

“We want agents to know we sell more than just Ireland and Scotland. We are excited to show them some of what Wales has to offer their clients. Our Wales & England programs have grown significantly over the last few years, and we will have a greater focus on these destinations in 2020,” noted Conor Duffy, director at RIT.

The fam is in conjunction with Visit Wales and flights will be with RIT partner, Air Transat. The cost is $1,200 per person, including airfare from Toronto (supplement from other gateways).

Highlights include: two nights at the Chateau Rhianfa in Anglesey; touring through the beautiful Wales countryside including Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire; tour and tasting of Penderyn Whisky Distillery, Aberdarel; two nights in the Welsh capital, Cardiff; free time and a final night in London.
