Ride The Waves in Oahu
Oahu’s Fabled North Shore is the original home of big wave riding, serving each year as the host to the most prestigious events in professional surfing. Travellers are invited to join the world’s top professional surfers as they take on the legendary waves of the Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach and Haleiwa this winter, and making Turtle Bay Resort their home away from home.
As the last stop on the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Championship Tour, everything is riding on the North Shore waves, including $1 million in prize money, and prestigious Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and ASP titles. Be there as the Vans World Cup celebrates its 40th year, with exclusive access as part of Turtle Bay’s lineup of surf packages. Guests can then grab a board and take expert-led lessons from the resort’s on-site surf centre.
Packages include the North Shore Big Wave Surf, Stay & Play package: five nights starting at $740, for travel Oct. 28 to Nov. 23; the Thanksgiving Surf & Turf Package: five nights starting at $985, for travel Nov. 24 to Dec. 1; the Surf & Save Midweek Package: four nights starting at $519, for travel Dec. 1 to Dec. 4; and the North Shore Ultimate Big Wave VIP Package: five nights starting at $1,450, for travel Dec. 4 to Dec. 19.
