Record Year Forecast For Britain
VisitBritain chief executive Sandie Dawe forecast another record year for British tourism in 2014 after reaching a record of almost 33 million visitors in 2013.
January already kicked off with a 19% gain year over year, she announced at the opening of the VisitBritain annual Hosted Buyer’s Marketplace in London on Monday (March 17).
Canada was up 7% in 2013 and Canadian buyers are reporting booming sales already his year for the summer season.
