Quite An Experience
Air New Zealand and Tourism Australia are teaming up to offer Canadians more choices when they’re flying DownUnder, with a special fare to seven of Australia’s top destinations.
The campaign – which features a Canadian economy return airfare priced from $1,575 – will be heavily promoted on multiple digital channels from now through Nov. 15, 2015.
The Air New Zealand special fare applies on travel to seven of the eight destinations it serves in Australia and includes Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast and Coolangatta.
It does not, however, include travel to Perth, the carrier’s eighth destination in Australia.
Out of North America, Air New Zealand offers flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Vancouver B.C., and Houston (commencing December 15, 2015).
Air New Zealand’s vice-president and general manager of the Americas, Chris Myers said that: “Together with Tourism Australia, we hope to inspire travelers to experience the best that Australia has to offer. With service to eight popular gateways, Air New Zealand makes it easier than ever to get Australia, and our Kiwi hospitality and award-winning service help ensure the journey to Australia is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.”
Tourism Australia’s vice-president, The Americas, Jane Whitehead noted that: “With its stunning landscapes, can’t miss coastal and beach experiences and exceptional food and wine, Australia tops many people’s “must visit” destinations. By working with Air New Zealand, we’re showing those people how easy it is to go now with the help of a great fare and easy connections to seven fabulous destinations.”
