Puerto Rico shows off what’s new for 2025

Puerto Rico measures approximately 100 by 35 miles and has incredible geographic diversity—from glistening white-sand beaches to lush mountain ranges.
The island is small enough to drive around in a few hours, but the sights, sounds, and flavours you can discover along the way are vast. Each of Puerto Rico’s six regions and 78 municipalities has a unique identity that manifests into diverse cultural activities, landmarks and attractions, adventure tours, colourful festivals, and, of course, the people.
2024 recap
2024 was an exciting year in Puerto Rico: new boutique hotels popped up around the Island, from Alma Hotel in San Juan to the beautiful Aire de O:live in Carolina, and the newly renovated Hotel El Convento, a converted monastery in Old San Juan.
From the team behind the much-loved Bacoa Finca y Fogón, a farm-to-table restaurant in Juncos and Los Guapos, a taquería in San Juan, Aldeana brought a new farm-to-table gastronomic experience in the mountains of Cidra. Elsewhere, Celeste was a brand new neighbourhood seafood and wine bar in San Juan with only eight tables that has quickly become one of the most popular restaurants in Puerto Rico.
What’s new for 2025

February continues the momentum with the thrilling Puerto Rico Dragon Boat Festival, a dynamic event blending sport and culture in Cataño. Music lovers will revel in concerts by legends like Draco Rosa, Natalia Jiménez, and Ednita Nazario, while the Mojito Fest serves up the Island’s signature cocktail amidst live entertainment.
