Travel Edge Network recently partnered with Visit Portugal for a six-day trip for nine advisors that included stops in Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and Madeira.

Part of its Knowledge Trips – which provide advisors with firsthand destination experience – highlights include an electric tuk tuk tour around some of the most popular neighborhoods in Lisboa; walking food and wine tour of Funchal City Centre with a stop at the farmer’s market; toboggan ride in wicker baskets; and dolphin and whale watching aboard a private boat.

There were also several opportunities to see and explore the history of Portugal with visits to the Belém area, sight of the famous Tower that serves as the ceremonial gateway to Lisbon, along with the Jerónimos Monastery and the Discoveries’ monument.
