Malaysia was front and centre during a Friday photography exhibition in Toronto hosted by Gabriela Enriquez of Exotic Destinations, who toured the “beautiful country” and posted pictures she took at Toronto’s Grapefruit Moon restaurant. Easy sightings of exotic wildlife meant Malaysia is in many ways an “open zoo,” she said. Sandra Ngoh-Fonseka of Tourism Malaysia said Canadian tourists tend to be drawn by Borneo, the attributes of which include ancient ran forest and great scuba diving. Malaysia is also home to more than 250 golf courses, with greens fees of $30 to $40 including a caddy and dinner, she said. Among tour operators Tourism Malaysia works with is Goway, with Oh declaring that “Goway really knows all about Malaysia.” Seen here (l-r) are Enriquez, Paul Badics of Goway and Ngoh-Fonseka.
