Florida’s Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau reports it has befriended Mother Nature. “We’re all about nature,” the bureau’s Shelley Grant told a Toronto audience Tuesday, adding visitors may spot the likes of manatees, dolphins and other creatures in a jurisdiction that also has more than 400 types of shells. Lee County also offers “wonderful birding” and has soft-adventure activities that make it great for families, she added.
