The Skål Club of the Canadian Rockies literally took a step over the cliff at its July 9 meeting held at the Canadian Rockies newest awesome experience, the Glacier Skywalk. Hosted by Skålleague and president of Brewster Travel Canada David McKenna, the event started with a private transfer from Canmore and Banff as Skålleagues enjoyed the scenic views along the Icefield Parkway, considered one of the top 10 drives in the world. Upon arrival at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre and taking in the interpretive exhibits along the cliff-edge walkway, Skålleagues stepped out on to the glass-floored observation platform 280 metres over the glacier formed valley.
