The Yucatan’s Occidental Grand Xcaret resort has a showcase for Mexican nature, culture and history almost on its doorstep. The Caribbean-fronting property is next door to Xcaret Experience, which has a host of attractions, including Mexican wildlife and cultural shows, general manager David Ocete told a Toronto audience Wednesday. Guess can walk from the five-star all-inclusive resort to Xcaret in one to two minutes or ride a gondola-like boat, with that relaxed journey taking 10 to 15 minutes, he reported.
