Taiwanese carrier EVA Air — which this year will become a member of Star Alliance — showcased the seating for its Royal Laurel Class service in Toronto Wednesday. The service will appear on its Toronto-Taipei service in late March with highlights including fully reclining seats, 15.4-inch personal touch screen, noise-cancelling headsets and greater food options. The seating is “very user-friendly,” says EVA’s Patrick Wang. EVA Air has three weekly flights between Toronto and Taipei and the airline also serves Vancouver. Its network also extends throughout Asia. Seen here are (standing) Kayla Shubert, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Wang and EVA’s Avery Chuang. Sitting in one of the new seats is EVA’s Victor Hsiao.
