The brand and marketing manager for St. Lucia’s Sunswept Resorts says staying at its Rendezvous resort can be a touching experience. Armin Asceric told a Toronto audience Thursday that spa staff trained at five-star sister property thebodyholiday can now in turn teach visiting couples how to massage each other, enabling them to continue to receive massages after returning home. And Asceric said spa visits are just some of a large number of activities that await Rendezvous visitors, who can also opt for the likes of water aerobics and tai chi during their vacations. Rendezvous has just seen a US$12.5-million investment in a retreat that Asceric praised for providing intimate stays and fronting two miles of white-sand beach. “Rendezvous is for the sophisticated couple that needs quality time together,” he said.
