The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau with agency partners took to the streets of Austin during the recent SXSW Music handing out Miami-branded sunglasses and bottled water, but the main attraction was an “It’s So Miami” pedal pub. With palm trees and all, those peddling not only had some fun in the sun while getting around town, but took to Miami’s Twitter page to enter to win a trip to the destination. Miami’s Social media channels were a flutter with more than 433 Instagram photos captured live from the scene, 212 Twitter mentions and 860 new friends/followers garnered via Facebook and Twitter platforms.
