Hailed as the biggest Bavarian celebration outside of Germany, Bingemans Oktoberfest is getting even bigger and better in 2022.

The Oktoberfest Kool Haus will be extended over three feature weekends, starting Sept. 23 and wrapping up Oct. 8, with more festivities, more special events, more food, more drinks and more fun.

Also, new this year is an expanded patio and outdoor stage that will ensure guests have easy access to food and beverages with plenty of room to enjoy the Oktoberfest festivities.

This year’s festival has an exciting entertainment schedule, some new events and old favourites that will rival any Oktoberfest celebration in the world.”

Jam-Packed Entertainment — There is great live music happening every weekend, starting with the return of Retroberfest (Sept. 23) featuring retro videos, DJs and the headlining house band The Golden Keys. Other musical guests include Canadian rocker Kim Mitchell (Sept. 24), The Tonic Band (Sept. 30 and Oct. 1) and the return of Germany’s Dorfrocker (Oct. 7 and Oct. 8). Kinderfest Fall Fair — Set to take place Oct. 1 and Oct. 2, Kinderfest is the Waterloo Region’s newest family-centric fall festival. Featuring children’s entertainment, headlined by Erick Traplin, carnival rides and inflatables, pumpkin cookie decorating, fall treats and drinks, open-fire s’mores roasting and face painting. Shop local at the Kinderfest Fall Market — no ticket required to shop great local vendors and artisans. Adults and children under 2 are free, tickets for kids aged 2 to 11 cost $19.95. Bavarian Eats — Indulge in traditional Oktoberfest food at Bingemans Bavarian Feast, featuring some of the most delicious German food. Enjoy Marche dining with traditional Oktoberfest food, exclusive entertainment and express access to the main festivities in the Oktoberfest Kool Haus.
