The Turks & Caicos Tourist Board opened its new office in Toronto this week with a reception for the travel trade. Designed to be “the hub of all things Turks & Caicos” in Canada – an important and growing market for the Caribbean islands – the Sheppard Avenue address in North York is much larger than previous digs. TCI premier Dr. Rufus W. Ewing (c) was joined by Canadian tourism promotions executive Rosemarie Wilson and about a dozen tourism and hotel executives from the islands and local reps for the open house and ribbon cutting.
