Singer Amanda Martinez – whose father was one of two brothers who cycled from interior Mexico to Canada in 1956 – gave a concert at Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre Saturday night, with a photo exhibit in the theatre recounting her father’s and uncle’s epic journey. The concert was also a celebration of “Mexico’s and Canada’s 70^th anniversary of friendship.”
