Lufthansa German Airlines hosted a special industry reception last night (May 9) at the Panorama Lounge in the Manulife Centre in Toronto to celebrate 40 years of Toronto-Frankfurt service. CEO Carsten Spohr, who described Canada as a “dynamic market,” was on hand to brief media, agents and industry partners on what’s happening at Lufthansa. Among the news is the launch of new Vancouver-Munich service on May 16. The airline is also introducing new Business Class seats, which will be rolled out on its long-range aircraft over the next 18 months.
