For the fourth time in the last five years, Indus Travels of Richmond, BC was named “Best Tour Operator to India from the Americas.” The award was announced by the India Ministry of Tourism in late February, and was presented by Pratibha Patil, president of India, to Praveen Syal, managing director of Indus Travels. At the ceremony in New Delhi, tourism minister Subodh Kant Sahay singled out Indus for its unprecedented fourth win of the award, and Syal acknowledged the support his staff, core industry partners, India Tourism in Canada and his own Indus “family.” (http://www.industravels.ca)
