Saint Lucian chef Ed Harris Jr. took home the title in the Harbourfront Centre’s Hot & Spicy Food Festival International Iron Chef Competition in Toronto on Sept. 6-7. This year, the focus of the competition was on keeping it hot, spicy and sustainable. Chefs were challenged to use local, sustainable ingredients from their homeland. Harris’ accomplishments include appearing as a chef on 24-hour Restaurant Battle and being the winner of the Food Network’s CHOPPED “Turbot Powered” Season Four.
