Air Canada Vacations (ACV), in collaboration with the Sandals Foundation, recently spent a day volunteering at the Leanora Morris Early Childhood & Pre School in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The team renewed the classrooms and walkways with fresh paint; cleaned up the schoolyard and interacted with students and staff members. “ACV is honoured to partner with the Sandals Foundation on this initiative,” said Amr Younes, vice-president, sales, ACV. “It is incredible what can be accomplished with team work. We hope that everyone at Leanora Morris Pre School enjoys their updated space – we enjoyed being part of the collaboration.” He added, “Jamaica is always a special place to visit and the three hours the team spent with the school made this trip even more special. I am very proud of the work that was done. Trips like this are definitely one of the privileges of working in this industry.” The ACV team also had the privilege of meeting Leanora Morris herself – the woman who the school was named after. Leanora Morris Early Childhood & Pre School was developed in 1984. It has nine classrooms and accommodates five staff members and 80 students aged three to six years old.
