Ensemble Travel Group recently honoured its top producers in the U.S. and Canada with a seven-night luxury cruise of Southeast Asia aboard the Crystal Symphony. The celebration began in Singapore and ended in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with stops along in the way in Thailand and Cambodia.

This journey was the furthest afield the organization had travelled with its annual awards celebration and provided endless opportunities to experience first-hand the intrigue, character, and culture of the destination.

“The primary goal of the Ensemble Top Producers celebration is to honour and thank these members for their extraordinary sales performance with our preferred partners,” said Libbie Rice, Ensemble Co-President. “But it’s also the chance for them to personally experience developing markets that are causing travellers to stand up and take notice, and for some, to eventually book these exotic — and high margin — destinations.”

Ensemble Top Producers had a chance to experience first-hand what’s putting this region of the world on the bucket list for many travellers. Doing everything from just strolling the Orchid Garden and cruising on bumboats through the Quays in Singapore to exploring the beaches of Koh Samui Thailand, visiting a pepper plantation in Cambodia, and touring the Mekong Delta to see a different but thriving side of tourism for the more adventurous traveller.

During this year’s cruise, members also attended special business meetings led by Rice and Co-President Lindsay Pearlman to discuss market trends, new opportunities, and to preview initiatives planned for the balance of 2014 and beyond. In addition, the program featured informal discussion sessions for members on EnsembleÆs air, cruise, land, and On Location programs.
