Some wonders of nature were highlight sights for a group of Canadian travel agents who took part in a fam trip to the Philippines in November. The trip was organized and hosted by the Philippine Department of Tourism, Richmond-based tour operator Royal Scenic and Philippine Airlines.
The group of 10 agents saw natural attractions such as the underground river of Puerto Princesa and the Chocolate Hills of Bohol. Bohol is home to the tarsier – the world’s smallest primate. The travel retailers also took in the Big Lagoon of El Nido and the white sand beaches of the island of Palawan.
While learning that English is widely spoken by friendly Filipinos, the agents also discovered that the country has a diverse culture with many historical landmarks. The group flew on Philippine Airlines and thus experienced the carrier’s excellent in-flight services. #iflyPAL, #morefuninthephilippines
