A delegation from Hangzhou, China, visited Toronto Friday, familiarizing travel agents and tour operators with a city that Marco Polo called the most magnificent in the world when he visited it in 1275. Other claims to fame include its being at the southern end of the famed Grand Canal, which has Beijing at its northern end, and it is also home to scenic West Lake. Hangzhou is 45 minutes by high-speed train from Shanghai.
