Delta, Air France-KLM and Alitalia were in a celebratory mood this week as they opened their new joint offices in Toronto — all part of the carriers’ ambitious joint venture. About 65 travel industry types — travel agents, tour operators, tourist board officials and staff from the four airlines — were on hand for the event. Fabien Pelous, the newly appointed vice-president for Air France-KLM Canada and the general manager sales Canada for the Delta-KLM-Air France-Alitalia joint venture, welcomed the guests, and offered them some insights on the importance of the new venture.
